![]() I could not get by the idea of having 25 sheets of a paper that I might not use all of for a while. I think I paid £65 for 15 metres of 17" IFA 11. I don't use cut sheet as I find its size too limiting, I am pedantic enough to want a shape and size without compromise.Īt the point I was playing with these papers I tried the Innova IFA 26 and the IFA 11, I considered these two papers more widely applicable, not to mention the fact that I bought big rolls at killer prices. I was also looking at the same two papers, and in the end decided that the Bamboo was quite unique and though it would suit several shots, it was not as widely applicable and worth me buying a large roll. From the trial you have seen how it is more like a matt rag and needs the lifts that you would do for that. Mujana this paper is so similar in prep to others that I use, so I don't consider it unusual. I’ll probably will buy a box A2 Museum Etching as well. Maybe I don’t do justice to this Bamboo paper, by sticking to B/W. I might buy a box of this paper (because it really looks very nice), especially for B/W. So far I really prefer and like B/W for this paper (but I might be wrong ofcourse). What kept you from buying?ĭid you have to do any special processing on files to do justice to, and make them “shine” on this Bamboo paper? Like I ntrast/shadow lifting/colours/saturation/ etc.? All because of the slightly off white/yellowish tint of the paper? I only have 2 A4 sample papers printed.one in B/W and one colour. I’ve read your last years’ posts on this paper. not a ruin the image fake warmth, but a glowing difference. If you had a few boxes and a lot of very neutral papers like Cansons papers, this would make a great warm choice. On an image from Tuscany, the warm afternoon light on the fields made an amazing golden green. It is a lovely textured paper, quite unique with a hint of warmth and a slightly different feel. I tried it, and nearly bought a big roll.
